Charles Rice-González, born in Puerto Rico and reared in the Bronx, is a writer, long-time community and LGBT activist, Executive Director of BAAD! The Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance and a Distinguished Lecturer at Hostos Community College – CUNY.

Jennie Gruber is a writer, educator, interdisciplinary media-maker, queer punk, and true karaoke believer. She holds an MFA in Creative Nonfiction Writing from Sarah Lawrence, but frankly learned a lot more in Dan Fishback’s “Needing It†queer history and performance class at Brooklyn Art Exchange. Most recently, she has been producing “Why Are People Into That?!â€, a new podcast that demystifies desire. Her writing has appeared in several Cleis Press anthologies, including Best Bondage Erotica 2010; she has also blogged for Helix Queer Performance Network, Fleshbot and Gaga Stigmata, and published articles in The Believer, AORTA, and Whore! magazines. Her workshops and readings on dirty talk, sex worker self care, and spanking have been featured at a variety of international venues, including Good Vibrations, Perverts Put Out, Lesbian Sex Mafia, Dark Odyssey, and the first Feminist Porn Conference at the University of Toronto. As a film producer/director, she has won two Feminist Porn Awards. Born in Northern California, Gruber now lives in Manhattan with a very sweet bear.
Louis Chavez is a Brooklyn-based musician and visual artist. Their queer synthpunk & multimedia project, NO/HO/MO, is a part of the Punk Start My Heart family, and has been featured on Bitch Media, Homoground, Radio Panik & Scream Queens Radio. Their video work has been on display at the MIX New York Queer Experimental Film Festival, and has been shown live and toured through the U.S. and Canada.
Muggs Fogarty was born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island and has been a long time member of the Providence Poetry Slam staff, one of the longest-running slams in the country. Performing and writing from a young age, Muggs has presented work in front of audiences large and small, from local punk shows to international poetry festivals. After graduating from The New School with a degree in creative writing/literature, Muggs is returning to performance, crafting poems about queerness/family/memory/ focusing on musicality and storytelling. Muggs’ work can be found in Side B Magazine, 12th Street, 11 and a Half, and Plateau. Till’ spring, Muggs can be found on the west side, hiding in a blanket cave with Snow, Muggs’ hedgehog/new bestie.
Azure is an interdisciplinary artist: a performer, writer, director, visual artist, and teacher. Born and raised below the Mason-Dixon Line, Azure travels extensively for his work.
A.S. Carson is a functional narcissist and queer martyr based in pre-apocalyptic Brooklyn, NY. Her work been seen at the Upright Citizens Brigade, Cameo Gallery, The Creek & The Cave, Cake Shop, Beauty Bar, and Dixon Place, where her piece I Wanted it to Have a How and I Wanted it to Have a Verb premiered in the spring of 2011. She is the founder and creator of A.S.
